26 Jun Today’s Forecast – Sunshine, Clouds and a Chance of Snow
It’s one of those summer days! Not like my graduation day in June, the summer of 1999— but the oops out of time part. This June, Gregorian calendar summer day in 2025, makes May showers feel like Groundhog Day. Today the forecast is sunshine with clouds and a chance of rain, the high is 16 degrees celsius but feels like 12. My military style trench with epaulettes cover a relaxed fit pencil skirt and embroidered detailed t-shirt, my sports cap is good enough sun coverage.
Here are three outfits that work for this extreme weather day. Between 9am and noon I dress for cool temperatures and shade from clouds. By noon, a chance of sunshine between cloudy periods means bright, warm and cool in the shade. I swap the military trench for a cropped sweater and keep it moving, my day starts at 6am and will end around 2pm.
At 3pm grey skies roll in, liquid sunshine falls until 8pm. June 20 is the longest day of the year and marks our official start to summer, — yay!
Sadly, for now I will keep my raincoat, boots, and hat in rotation.
