When the things you want to wear are already in your closet

When the things you want to wear are already in your closet

One of the most basic rules in fashion is that nothing is less cool than the recent past, which probably includes what most of us already have in our closet. More than anything, I’m indifferent to the relentless pressure the fashion industry places on customers to buy new items each season to keep up with some current trend. This doesn’t mean I have grown tired of novelty, does it?

As a seasoned fashionista, I’ve had the pleasure of cultivating a wardrobe that consists of standout items, shapes and moods that cover the spectrum of my fashion needs and wants. I get so much satisfaction from coordinating my wardrobe by season and creating that perfect go-to capsule.

My wardrobe consists of items, shapes and moods that cover the spectrum of my fashion needs and wants! Does this mean i have grown tired of novelty?

The clothes I actually want to wear are in my closet. I consider redundancies and separate fantasy fashion from wearable fashion for a more seamless transition between outfits.

There is more to wear in my wardrobe than I think and I don’t mind re-cycling outfits, making only minor tweaks, throughout the week. The fun and satisfaction I gain being my own personal stylist enables me to try trends and explore in novel ways my own personal taste in a rejuvenating way.
